Pamela Denise Anderson, born on July 1, 1967, in Ladysmith, British Columbia, Canada, rose to fame as an iconic figure in the entertainment industry. Pamela Anderson was first discovered in 1989 whist attending a Canadian Football League (CFL) game in Vancouver, where she was spotted by an eagle eyed cameraman. During the game, her image appeared on the stadium’s big screen, and the crowd lapped it up. The reaction she got led to her being featured on the Jumbotron multiple times in the game. Everyone had to get another look at miss Anderson. Again was it luck, or really just a case of “how can you miss her?”
Due to the exposure form that game, Labatt Brewing Company, a major Canadian beer company, which was looking for a new spokesmodel for their beer brand picked up the then young miss Anderson as their beer spokesmodel. This is really where things started to happen for Pamela.

Follwing on from Labatt, Pamela Anderson gained further exposure as the cover model for Playboy magazine’s October 1989 issue. Her Playboy appearance opened doors to new opportunities, and she became a well sought-after model.
